Embrace the Opportunity, Enjoy the Moment

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart.” -Helen Keller

On yesterday, I had the marvelous opportunity to spend time with my niece. God knew the yearning in my heart and he acknowledged it. He comforted me with not only a niece to love and enjoy but also with a sister to embrace and cherish. A sisterly bond is unlike any other and being an Aunty is something I’m very thankful for.

I woke up today extremely grateful and thankful to God.

Grateful that he sees the heart of man and thankful to experience the joy that he has for me.

I love how God knows our heart. I love how he can see through me like an invisible glass. Even if he sees the good, the bad, or the ugly. I love that because he can change anything that wasn’t created by him and still love me for who I am. He is here to correct me out of pure love.

I embrace the fact that the love of God is not respective of person and is unconditional. Because of that, I trust that he can see my heart, knowing how I yearn to do what’s right. God has shown me that even in an imperfect situation, he still provides solice.

Only he understood what it was I needed and gifted me with that. Only he understood my desire and fulfilled them no matter how messed up it all may have seemed. I’m crushed by the weight of his love.

I hope you can understand that although you may not tell a living soul about your wants, your desires and how dry your well may seem, God can see through it all. He can also see through the lies and the deceit.

Despite the opportunities that people may try and take away from you, that doesn’t stop how God will bless you. I’ve learned that when God blesses you, it doesn’t end there. He blesses you whether it’s with finances, knowledge, or even experience so that you can know what to do and what not to do. It’s all a lesson so that we can learn ourselves and then teach someone else. If lessons and learning filtrated this earth one to another, how much better off would we be? If grace flowed from one body to the next, how much wiser would we be?

“Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
2 Corinthians 1:3‭-‬4 AMP

Despite the change that a person may make to affect your life, it cannot and will not change the doors that God will open up for you.

This is your life to live. Live it beautiful. Live it well. Irregardless who is in it or don’t want to be in, you must live your life for you.

Love those that love you. And if they don’t like you or love you, when you get an opportunity, embrace it to show them what kindness, what love, what forgiveness feels like. Create that beautiful moment not in what it looks like but in what it feels like.

Don’t try and make it happen or sit around lingering about what isn’t, just embrace what God has given you. If he gives you another opportunity, embrace it. I am a living witness, he will take care of the rest.

Auntie moment ❤

Until next time my friends, be blessed.
