You’ve Got Purpose

When a person becomes intimidated by what you are doing, [NO, when a person becomes intimidated because you are succeeding in your purpose for existence] especially in the kingdom of God, the weakest thing that they can do is to try and attack your character with the platform they may have. Don’t lose confidence, know you are going in the direction intended for you. This means you are on the right path. This deems the attacker weak and insecure. This deems you are worthy and true with what God has placed on the inside of you.

“Then the Rabshakeh said to them, “Say to Hezekiah, ‘This is what the great king, the king of Assyria says, “What is [the reason for] this confidence that you have? I say, ‘Your plan and strength for the war are only empty words.’ Now in whom do you trust and on whom do you rely, that you have rebelled against me? Listen carefully, you rely on the staff of this broken reed, Egypt, which will pierce the hand of any man who leans on it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who rely on him. But if you say to me, ‘We trust in and rely on the Lord our God,’ is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, saying to Judah and to Jerusalem, ‘You shall worship before this altar’?” Isaiah 36:4-7AMP

Words will only get you so far but your actions will determine who you really are. Place your confidence in God and not in people. I don’t jump for joy over people, I respect them and give my support but my praises go to God. When you don’t praise people they tend to assume you are against them or not happy for them but glory doesn’t go to man, it goes to God. Have a watchful eye and going into the new year be mindful of the intentions of those that are around you. You can’t expect the new unless you have conquered the old.
