Speaking the word of God out of your mouth means that you are giving life to that which you are saying. What you say and what you live by defines the characteristics of who you are. Some of the things that we speak is to hear our own-selves, trying to convince ourselves and others that we are this image. The greatest image that you can have is the light of God shining through you. That is through your words and your actions. Words are powerful and people can listen to you based on your words but they will trust you based on your actions. ….let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:18

It reminds me of the scripture in John 13:35 where it says that “by this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another”. Even if you are not sure how to go about showing love, their was an example already set in motion by Christ our savior over 2,000 years ago. This example was unselfish, obedient, and pure and it was a sacrifice of Christ showing the biggest display of love their is by giving us life, giving us hope, and giving us his truth. His love. Knowing someone by their love is not merely accepting or saying the words “I love you”, its the action that’s placed behind the words. What we say out of our mouth can cause a transformation in someone else’s life from hurt to healed simply by showing an unselfish love.

What is the charge that we as Christian believers have? Our charge is to fulfill The Great Commission and in Matthew 28:19-20 it breaks down what that commission is as “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” This great commission can be fulfilled through touching as many lives as possible on the path that you are on. Do this by speaking the word of God, not your judgement, and not your opinion. Show love through the example of God’s love toward us. Be that example to someone desperate for love. Someone who may be looking for love in all the wrong places.
Although it may seem weighing to fulfill the charge, who said it would be easy but it in itself is pure and the righteous will of God. We say things and speak things that aren’t so righteous all the time but that doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love us, it means that we are a sheep that will always be in need of a shepherd. It means that through our fault, we are made true by an unconditional love.
The charge will cause you to propel further on your Christian journey and as you stretch to believe that there are no limits on what the power of God’s love can do in your life and others, you will begin to see that there are no limits on how God can unfold miracles in your life.
You begin to comprehend that there is a power of limitless possibilities in your life if only you would open up your mouth and believe.
