Don’t miss out, your peace is waiting

There are so many things that we can try and find our peace in, but none of that compares to the peace that God can give us. No matter what else you have tried, even though it may seem insurmountable, the peace that God gives allows for freedom. The freedom to abandon worries, sadness, and shame and become renewed through Christ Jesus.

A piece of peace

Peace cannot be found in materialistic things. Sometimes it’s easy to go and buy to make ourselves feel better but after it’s used, the same defeated and slump feeling works its way back into our mind. True peace cannot be found in things, entertainment, or in people. It resides in our ability to trust God and is given by the Most High who knows your every care. True peace takes root in your life; it consumes your heart and your mind. The very thing that was stifling and worrisome to you now seems as though it was really not a big problem at all. You don’t even understand why it no longer bothers you. That is truly a peace that “passeth all understanding.” This peace that “passeth all understanding” is the same peace that “shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:7

Covered in peace

The shelter that comes with being kept by Jesus is a covering that is needed every day, every hour, every minute, and every second. Even when we may not realize we need to be covered, God’s grace remains sufficient and keeps us from harms way. We are kept by Jesus even in our hearts and in our minds.

We are all human=we all sin. This can be in our thoughts and in our actions. The peace that God can give us means that he can cover us even from those thoughts that we shouldn’t have or the feelings that we shouldn’t have in our hearts. The feeling of jealousy, envy, and strife should not be kept in our hearts. This is one of the easiest ways that the enemy seeks to destroy us from the inside out and that is because the enemy knows the word just as believers. By scripture, it says that “a sound heart is the life of flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.” -Proverbs 14:30. ….destroying from the inside out. So if the very thing that can cause you to propel in your health, in a literally sense being of a sound heart, why then do you think the enemy will try twice as hard to place those thoughts and feelings in us that can destroy us? It’s the very small things that we fall into the trap of with the enemy and that small thing he uses for years, decades to stop us from getting to the place where our blessings lie. That blessing is not just financial. The blessing can be unity with your family, a new career change or peace in your life. Our peace is not governed by who wrongs us and how others treat us. It is controlled by our own actions of response and our willingness to forgive, trusting that God will deliver us.

Don’t miss out, your peace is waiting

Those that can be most inspired by you, can be lost from you simply because of envy. Envy and peace can’t live in the same space. The scripture acknowledges that God’s peace will keep your heart. What do we have in our hearts that’s keeping us from God’s richly peace? When forgiving from your heart, you are not only freeing yourself, you are allowing God to break-through in your life like never before. You are allowing him to become the sound heart in your life. All that was filled with envy, strife, and hate now becomes fulfilled with love, joy, and peace. This allows the blessings that was blocked to overflow.

Once forgiveness takes place, your focus is not on the hurt, your focus is on “the things above,” because you realize that you’ve been held back from your greater purpose. When forgiveness takes place, what seemed that the enemy was using to torment you is no more. The Lord says that he will “rebuke the devourer for our sakes”. -Malachi 3:11. Who is the devour? The devour is whatever it is that is trying to consume you, whatever it is that’s coming against you. The thing that’s trying to swallow you. He says that, “it shall not destroy the fruits of your ground.” God sees your heart. He knows the seeds that you have sowed in the hope of a blessing, in the hope of a deliverance. Whatever it is that you have sowed on good ground will prosper. Gods word says that, “neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field.” Malachi 3:11. You will not have a pre-mature blessing. The blessing that God has waiting for you will come and it will arrive exactly when it’s due. It will not go beyond the due date; it will arrive on time. The devil can no longer use thoughts and distractions to control your mind like he once did. This is a point of restoration that God wants us to have. God wants us to know that by his word and his word alone is the answer to our peace. There is a point of renewal in our hearts and in our minds that the ways of the world cannot understand because it is beyond an unbelievers comprehension. God wants all of us to understand the power of forgiveness so that we can have HIS peace.

The peace that you prayed for, the blessing that you need will not be pre-mature, it has a due date and it is waiting to be delivered. Give God Glory for the peace that he is about to birth in your life!!!

Have a piece of peace by starting with forgiveness.

Until next time ….
